The Special Education/ABA Graduate Certificate at the University of Arkansas is seeking preschool aged children, with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder for a four-week summer program.
The program will run from June 1st- June 26th on Monday-Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:30 am in the University’s Special Education building located at 410 N. Arkansas Ave. in Fayetteville.
The focus of this group will be the use of technology and behavior analytic strategies in the development of communication and problem solving skills.
Participants in this group should have a diagnosis of autism and/or developmental disability. Additionally, participants should be able to sit in a chair and attend to stimuli for one-minute.
Participants will be selected on a first come/first served basis and will be assessed using the Verbal Behavior-Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) for appropriateness.
